The 10th century mask pendant, found at viking settlement in Gnezdovo (Russia). Stylised man's face with garnet* eyes and mouth.,Interpreted as Viking warrior, Odin or Loki.
Size: height 44 mm, width 33 mm, chain hole 3mm
Materials: made with garnets in a sterling silver.
All the designs from the VIKING KRISTALL are very tough, solid and chunky.
*Garnet symbolises perseverance and strength and is known as a “commitment stone”. The ancient Egyptians hailed garnets as a symbol of life. The stone was used for various medicinal purposes in the Middle Ages.
