Replica of pendant from 10th century Birka*. Often referred to as the "Birka Strainer," one intriguing theory suggests that this pendant may have served as a tool used by the ancient Greeks to separate herbs from wine, later stolen by Vikings.

*Birka, founded around 750 AD on the island of Björkö in Sweden, was a vital Viking trading hub, linking Scandinavia to both Eastern Europe and the Byzantine Empire. The settlement thrived for over 200 years before it was abandoned around 975 AD due to shifting trade routes.
