Replica based on viking pendant from 10th - 12th century, found in Visby, Gotland, Sweden. Similar jewellery have been found in eastern - rus viking regions.
It has been suggested that the lenses themselves are much older than their mounts and may have been used by craftsmen for magnification in fine work, as reading stones, or to start fires.
Size: polished mountain crystal ball, different sizes available.
Materials: made in a sterling silver with a mountain crystal* ball inside. All the filigree is hand made with a master precision.

This was my first time ordering from this store. I was very pleased with the detailed quality of the piece, and customer service. So much so, I ordered a smaller(1.6cm) version for a pendant. I use the larger(1.9cm) one as a zipper pull for my tarot card deck case. Pay close attention to the shipping time-line for your orders. They take quite the adventure to make it to their destination, but well worth the wait.

Very beautiful, very large! It's a bit of a heavy weight and looks exactly like the picture. I think I need to find a sturdier chain for it.
