Pendant based on 12th-century Sheela-na-gig from the church at Kilpeck (Herefordshire, England).
Size: height 22mm, width 18mm
Materials: made in sterling silver.
All the designs from the VIKING KRISTALL are very tough, solid and chunky.
*Sheela-na-gigs are figurative carvings of naked women displaying an exaggerated vulva. They are architectural grotesques found all over Europe. A popular hypothesis connect Sheela Na Gig with pagan fertility or mother goddess religion.
